tvtag is a way to connect TV audience members by giving them talking points or events that happen during the show, and allowing them to comment, doodle, meme, etc the screenshot from that event, then share if they choose. The app also includes some content discovery features as well. For tvtag I was the primary UX designer and visual designer.
I started working on tvtag at i.TV back in 2009. Back then it was called The Audience and was many iterations different from what I will show here. The version I am showing is what was completed before i.TV purchased GetGlue and attempted to merge the two apps. I worked on the UX and UI of the 5-6 iterations that lead to this design. A lot of the experiments we did with tvtag helped inform Nintendo TVii as well.
